Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a shift in our Cedar Rapids, IA facility. You will oversee inventory levels, assign tasks, and coach a team to ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment.

Experience with SAP, WMS, and handheld scanners is required, along with a willingness to work flexible hours including overtime. You will ensure safety procedures are followed, optimize processes, and maintain high customer service standards while supporting organizational goals in a

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• 1 year of SAP experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability for flexible schedule including overtime and weekends.
• 1 year of supervisor experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Inventory control and cycle counting skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational processes to ensure inventory levels are correct and orders are completed on time.
• Review workload and assign tasks to employees.
• Train and coach warehouse team; provide development opportunities and performance guidance.
• Utilize warehouse management system and maintain work documents.
• Establish and promote exceptional customer service and safety compliance.
• Operate and supervise equipment safely and efficiently.
• Track orders and investigate problems; ensure compliance with policies.

Whatyou’lldo on a typical day:

Oversee operational processes to ensure correct inventory levels aremaintainedand orders are completed accurately and on time

Review workload and assign tasks to employees

Properly trainand coach the warehouse team andprovidepositive developmental opportunities; recommend performance improvement actions as needed

Correctlyutilizewarehouse management system andmaintainappropriate workdocuments

Establish,maintainand promote exceptional customer service

Correctly interpret and enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance

Safelyoperatevarious equipment and tools

Provide support and backup to warehouse management

Track orders andinvestigateproblems

Catalog and track goods and/or supplies

Adhere to the 7S program bymaintaininga clean environment

Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum,you’llneed:

2 years of experience in a warehouse environment

1 year of SAP experience

Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners

It’dbe great if you also have:

High school diploma or equivalent

Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends

1 year of experience as a supervisor

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Skills in inventory control and cycle counting

This job requires the ability to:

Lift up to 50 lbs.frequentlyand greater than 75 lbs. occasionally

Take a reach truck or cherry picker to a height of 23+ feet

Carry objects 3-5 feet weighing up to 50lbs, routinely

Stand for prolonged periods of time >4 hours

Walk continuously for more than 10,000 steps (4-5) miles per day

Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull objects of various shapes and sizes in team lift.
