Ryan, LLC is seeking a Lead UX Designer to shape our digital tax product experiences. You’ll guide experience strategy, mentor designers, and collaborate with product and engineering to deliver intuitive, impactful user experiences.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of product/UX design with end-to-end ownership of complex workflows
• Proven ability to lead and mentor designers, raising team output
• Financial, enterprise, SaaS, or B2B background is a plus
• Demonstrated ability with AI tools and processes that accelerate design and research (e.g. Claude, Figma Make, Lovable)

Responsibilities

• Set design direction and elevate standards across digital products with a strategic mindset
• Mentor and grow other designers, fostering innovation and continuous learning
• Guide teams through ambiguity and drive toward clarity and alignment
• Partner with Product and Engineering to define requirements, align on user needs, and shape product strategy
• Champion design system for consistency, scalability, and long-term cohesion
• Facilitate workshops and ideation sessions to unlock solutions and collaboration
• Conduct user research and translate insights into designs that drive measurable outcomes
• Present and advocate design decisions with stakeholders and clients, linking to business value
• Move from concept to testable experience with wireframes, prototypes, and IA
• Produce polished UI deliverables that translate into production-ready components
