CK Contractors and Development LLC, serving the Savannah area, seeks a Utility Foreman to manage grading crews involved in site work. The role emphasizes supervising daily utility tasks, coordinating pipe routes from blueprints, and reporting to the Superintendent.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in water and utility installation, strong leadership, safety awareness, and the ability to work within regulatory guidelines. Travel within a 70 mile radius of Savannah may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience with water lines, storm water lines, sanitary sewer, and underground utilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage people, equipment, and materials safely and efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills and sense of urgency.
• Excellent safety awareness and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily tasks of the utility crew.
• Read and understand project plans and specifications; coordinate with site management to determine pipe routes and install sequence.
• Report on work progress to Superintendent.
• Inspect work site for sequencing and safety concerns; plan installations to minimize interference with other activities.
• Coach team members on proper pipe construction techniques.
• Monitor crew structure, sizing, and wage compliance with the Superintendent.
• Maintain safety around equipment and underground utilities; enforce PPE and safety protocols.
• Complete required paperwork and submit as required.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including OSHA training.
