Job summary

Coforge in Dallas seeks a Senior UX Designer – Native App Design with 8–10 years of experience to lead end-to-end mobile UX for iOS and Android. You will plan and execute research, translate insights into journeys, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI while balancing brand identity and platform conventions.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and QA to refine features using Material Design and Apple guidelines, contributing to design systems and governance.

We at Coforge are hiring a Senior UX Designer – Native App Design with the following skillset:

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end to end UX design for mobile applications (iOS & Android) from discovery through delivery
• Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative research activities, synthesizing findings into actionable design recommendations for native iOS and Android applications.
• Define and execute mobile first design strategies, considering platform conventions, gestures, navigation patterns, and constraints
• Translate business requirements and user insights into mobile user journeys, task flows, wireframes, and high fidelity UI designs
• Design intuitive, accessible, and engaging experiences for customer facing mobile applications (insurance or finance experience is an added advantage)
• Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Analytics, and QA teams to define, build, and refine mobile features
• Ensure usability, accessibility (WCAG / mobile accessibility standards), performance considerations, and consistency across mobile experiences
• Contribute to and evolve mobile design systems, UI components, interaction patterns, and platform specific guidelines
• Support shaping mobile experience strategy, shaping product direction, influencing roadmap priorities, and guiding design quality across teams.
• Apply hands-on experience with Material Design (Android) and Apple Human Interface Guidelines (iOS) to deliver platform-native experiences, while balancing brand identity and cross-platform consistency
• Clearly present mobile design concepts, rationale, and trade offs to stakeholders and leadership
• Engage in defining design governance, design mentorship, and cross-functional decision-making with other key members of project teams

Required Qualifications

• 8–10 years of UX/Product Design experience, with deep mobile app experience across discovery, strategy, design, delivery, and optimization.
• Strong understanding of mobile UX principles, interaction design, information architecture, and responsive/adaptive design
• Proven experience designing for complex mobile workflows, consumer apps, or enterprise mobile products
• Experience with strategy and design for travel brands, including hotels, and or airlines
• Ability to balance user needs, business objectives, and mobile technical constraints (performance, device limitations, OS guidelines)
• Demonstrable experience designing to Material Design and Apple Human Interface Guidelines, including platform-specific navigation, components, typography, motion, and accessibility conventions
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma, including mobile prototyping and design systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on data driven or feature rich mobile apps
• Experience extending or adapting Material Design and iOS Human Interface Guidelines within a branded design system, including tokenised components and design-to-development handoff
• Experience working in fast paced, cross functional, mobile first product teams
• Exposure to mobile analytics, A/B testing, and post launch optimization
