Job summary

Blue Signal Search is seeking an Underground Construction Foreman to lead field operations across underground utilities, traffic signal, and roadway lighting projects. This hands-on role mentors crews, coordinates multiple projects, and ensures quality workmanship while prioritizing safety.

You will review plans, schedule labor, equipment, and subcontractors, travel to active sites in the region, and collaborate with project management, inspectors, and municipalities to deliver on-time,

Qualifications

• Five+ years in underground utilities or heavy civil construction.
• Experience leading field crews as Foreman or supervisor.
• Ability to read underground utilities and road infrastructure plans.
• CDL required.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Willingness to travel across the territory.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations for underground utility and heavy civil projects.
• Direct and mentor crews while promoting safety, accountability, and quality.
• Review drawings and plans to ensure work is accurate and efficient.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to maintain schedules.
• Monitor progress and proactively resolve field challenges.
• Collaborate with project management, inspectors, and contractors for successful execution.
• Schedule locates, inspections, lane closures, and other requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, specifications, and standards.
• Maintain company vehicles and tools, promoting proper care.
• Travel to active project sites as needed.
