Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to lead daily activities for modalities including MRI, CT, ultrasound, or interventional radiology in Atlanta. The role serves as a resource to radiologists, staff, and referring physicians, ensuring high-quality patient care across age groups.

The candidate will have RT or RTT registration with Sonography specialty or ARDMS Sonography, minimum two years ultrasound experience, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Radiologic Technologist in Training (RTT) with specialty in Sonography or ARDMS Sonography.
• Two years of Ultrasound experience.
• Certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Leads the daily activities of the assigned Modality (MRI, CT, US, or IR).
• Acts as a resource for radiologists, radiology staff and other departments, and liaises with referring physicians.

RADIOLOGY:

Leads the daily activities of assigned Modality (MRI, CT, US, or IR). Acts as a resource concerning specialty area for the radiologists, radiology staff and other departments. Acts as a liaison between their department and referring physician's offices. Works with pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

CANCER CENTER - RADIATION ONCOLOGY:

Leads the daily activity of the CT scanner(s). Acts as a resource concerning the CT process for the Physicians, Radiation Therapists and other department staff.

REQUIRED

1. Registered Radiological Technological (RT or RTT) with speciality in Sonography OR ARDMS Sonography
2. Two (2) years of experience in Ultrasound
3. Must hold Certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

1. Two years of supervisory experience.
