Job summary

HRforGrowth is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to design and build a new software platform. The role requires taking ownership of the design process from concept to production, with a strong user-centered approach and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

The position is hybrid, based in Bronx or Monsey, NY, with a compensation range of $100,000–$150,000 per year. Healthcare experience is preferred and U.S. citizenship or green card is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional UX/UI design experience.
• Proven experience designing software products, platforms, or applications from the ground up.
• Strong understanding of user experience principles, interaction design, information architecture, and modern UI design best practices.
• Healthcare industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and interfaces for the software platform.
• Lead end-to-end UX/UI design from concepts and user research to final product implementation.
• Translate business requirements and user needs into simple, effective digital experiences.
• Establish and maintain design direction and visual design principles for the platform.
• Collaborate with developers, leadership, product stakeholders, and cross-functional teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Ensure designs are implemented accurately and consistently by development teams.
• Identify usability challenges and proactively develop design solutions.
• Maintain consistency across the platform's UX, interaction patterns, and visuals.
• Continuously improve UX based on feedback and evolving user needs.
• Take ownership of design initiatives and drive projects forward with minimal oversight.
• Contribute to product strategy with a user-centered design perspective.
• Communicate design concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Help establish scalable design practices, standards, and processes for growth.
