Job summary

Synechron is seeking a hands-on Lead UI Developer to design, build, and ship high-quality user interfaces. You will code a substantial portion, own front-end architecture, guide a small team, and collaborate directly with clients, designers, and backend developers.

Proven experience using AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) on real projects is essential, with emphasis on speed, quality, and security. Base salary ranges by geography, with Dallas, TX noted.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a UI leadership role.
• Experience designing reusable component libraries and frontend architecture.
• Experience with frontend performance optimization and bundle size reductions.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling authentication, errors, and async states.
• Experience with testing tools such as Jasmine, Karma, Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Experience with SonarQube or equivalent code-quality tools.
• Experience building front-end apps as containers on Red Hat OpenShift (on-prem).
• Daily hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing, and release of Angular and React apps.
• Write production-quality code and deliver UI features in short cycles.
• Own front-end architecture, coding standards, and shared components.
• Integrate apps with REST APIs and backend services, incl. auth and pagination.
• Improve performance via bundling, lazy loading, and efficient change detection.
• Collaborate with clients, designers, and backend devs to translate requirements into solutions.
• Review code, mentor teammates, and support team development.
• Create and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated quality checks.
