Job summary

TAS Aviation, Inc. in Lima, Ohio is seeking a Crew Lead – Turboprop Specialist (PT6A experience). This full-time role leads technicians in daily turboprop maintenance, oversees inspections, and ensures FAA Part 145 compliance.

You will mentor a high-performing team, coordinate workflow, and communicate with customers about status and findings while maintaining quality and safety. Relocation to Lima is required for strong candidates with 3+ years turboprop experience and an A&P certification.

Qualifications

• A&P Certification is required.
• 3+ years turboprop powered aircraft experience.
• Willingness to relocate to Lima, OH.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support technicians in daily maintenance operations.
• Perform and oversee turboprop inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, Part 145 requirements, and TAS quality standards.
• Coordinate workflow, job assignments, and scheduling to maintain efficiency and safety.
• Assist in communicating with customers regarding status updates, findings, and expectations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper return-to-service procedures.
• Mentor technicians, support training and development, and foster a high-performance team culture.
• Assist with problem-solving, technical guidance, and escalated maintenance decisions.
• Promote a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
