Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or U.S. national and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Transportation Security Officers and Lead Transportation Security Officers.
• Oversee passenger, carry-on and checked baggage screening operations.
• Assign work, set priorities, and coordinate rotations and coverage.
• Make security-based decisions using TSA procedures and operational information.
• Review performance and provide coaching and feedback to staff.
• Approve leave and handle routine workplace concerns.
• Respond to security incidents, disruptions, or emergencies.
• Prepare briefings, logs, and management communications.
• Coordinate with airport stakeholders and TSA leadership as needed.
• Suggest improvements to screening procedures and staffing plans.
