The Halter Group is seeking an experienced tree crew lead to manage and mentor a trimming crew in Evansville, IN. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and reliable daily reporting while coordinating with the General Foreman on all job aspects.

Qualified candidates have a valid driver's license, with CDL preferred; experience as a trimmer/climber and bucket operator is valued. Willingness to travel within surrounding areas is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License.
• CDL preferred; company may assist with CDL training.
• Experience as trimmer/climber and bucket operator preferred (2+ years).
• OSHA, Aerial Rescue, First Aid/CPR training completed.
• Leadership, crew coordination, equipment inspection, daily reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide management and leadership to a tree crew while performing assignments.
• Communicate with General Foreman daily about job aspects.
• Perform tree trimming with safety as a priority and manage equipment.
• Complete inspection paperwork and daily reports.
• Submit timesheets accurately and on time.
• Identify hazards, plan drop zones, and select proper tree removal methods.
