Job summary

Unlimited Technology, Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Traveling Security Technician to install, service, test and inspect access control and IP camera systems.

This customer-facing role requires sound decision-making in the customer’s best interest and the ability to work under supervision. The position requires reading engineered drawings, basic door hardware knowledge, and the ability to travel across the US for two-week assignments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or state-recognized equivalent.
• 1–5 years of security installation experience and network ability.
• Knowledgeable of security equipment systems (i.e., intrusion detection, assessment, and access control).
• Ability to obtain and retain a U.S. Government Security Clearance preferred; DCJS Certified is required.
• Ability to travel around the US; travel 2 weeks at a time.

• Thoroughly complete all necessary paperwork relating to job tickets.

UT Government is looking to add a Traveling Security Technician to their team.

The Security Technician is responsible for the installing, service, testing and inspection of a wide range of access control and IP Camera products and systems. As a customer facing employee, the Security Technician must be a personable, knowledgeable self-starter who is capable of making sound decisions that are in the best interest of the customer and Unlimited Technology. The Security Technician must possess basic troubleshooting skills and will work under the direction and supervision of various departments.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Service and test various Access Control and IP Camera products and platforms.
• Must be able to read and comprehend engineered drawings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or state-recognized equivalent.
• At least one (1)to five (5) years of security installation experience and network ability.
• Knowledgeable of security equipment systems (i.e., intrusion detection, assessment, and access control).
• Capable of installing and maintaining various alarms, access control, and assessment system devices.
• Ability to obtain and retain a U.S. Government Security Clearance preferred DCJS Certified is required.
• Prior troubleshooting experience.
• Security industry certifications
• Knowledge of: Software House,Gallagher, Lenel, Hanwha, Bosch or Hirsh.
• Ability to travel around the US
• Able to travel 2 weeks at a time

Pay Range : $70,000 USD - $95,000 USD
