Job summary

DOWL is seeking a Transportation & Structures Project Manager to lead complex Oregon projects from Portland. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and ensure client satisfaction while mentoring staff and supporting business development.

The role requires a BS in civil/structural/transportation engineering (ABET-accredited), PE licensure or eligibility, and at least 6 years of industry experience. Driving is required.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in civil, structural, or transportation engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the state of primary practice or eligible to obtain license within 6 months.
• 6 years of industry experience.
• Driving is an essential job function or a valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex Transportation & Structures projects in Oregon.
• Oversee scope, schedule, and budget; ensure quality and client satisfaction.
• Engage in business development, client relations, and staff leadership.
• Coordinate with leadership and project staff to resolve technical issues.
• Plan project schedules, staffing, deliverables, and fee breakdowns.
