Responsibilities

• Supervise Transportation Security Officers and Lead Officers.
• Oversee passenger and baggage screening operations at checkpoints.
• Assign work, set priorities, and coordinate rotations and coverage.
• Make security-based decisions using TSA procedures and available information.
• Review performance and provide coaching and development feedback.
• Approve leave and address routine workplace concerns.
• Respond to security incidents, disruptions, and emergencies.
• Prepare briefings, logs, incident reports, and communications.
• Coordinate with airport staff, law enforcement, and TSA leadership when needed.
• Recommend improvements to screening procedures and staffing plans.
