Job summary

WSP is seeking a Transmission Line Project Engineer in Lake Oswego, OR to lead the engineering of high-voltage transmission projects up to 765kV. The role involves coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, maintaining schedules, and guiding technical delivery with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• 5-7 years of post-education experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in the transmission field of designing/managing projects and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• Understanding of the NESC, RUS, and/or GO-95.
• Strong understanding of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD operation.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
• Experience using Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for planning, design, and delivery of high-voltage overhead transmission line projects up to 765kV.
• Lead project execution layouts and maintain project schedules.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams; participate in meetings and reviews.
• Mentor staff and support QA/QC procedures.
• Travel to client offices/field/vendor facilities as needed.
