Sanmina Corporation is seeking a Lead Core Stacking Technician to oversee and execute advanced transformer core stacking using precision laminations. You will mentor technicians, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement during ramp-up and ongoing production.

The role requires expert interpretation of engineering drawings, use of precision tools, and leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in the United States. Strong safety and quality focus is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years in a precision manufacturing/assembly environment; 3+ years in mechanical or precision assembly.
• 2+ years in lead/senior/mentoring role.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and work instructions.
• Advanced proficiency with calipers, gauges, etc.
• Troubleshooting assembly or build issues.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations for the core stacking area.
• Mentor Core Stacking Technicians and ensure safety.
• Be the subject matter expert for complex core stacking configurations.
• Direct complex transformer core assembly using laminations.
• Ensure proper sequencing and alignment per drawings and work instructions.
• Monitor performance and implement adjustments for quality and yield.
• Prepare core assemblies for downstream operations.
• Log production data and material traceability in ERP systems.
