Job summary

King Asphalt, Inc. is seeking a Traffic Control Supervisor to lead traffic control operations on roadway construction projects. You will supervise crews, coordinate daily activities, and ensure safety and compliance with MUTCD, OSHA, SCDOT and company policies.

This role requires a minimum of 5 years in traffic control or roadway work, a valid driver's license (CDL preferred), and proven leadership. You will oversee devices, closures, and safety meetings while maintaining equipment and inventory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in traffic control or roadwork.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily traffic control crew activities.
• Coordinate lane closures and work zone setups for paving and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with MUTCD, OSHA, SCDOT and King Asphalt safety policies.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and site inspections.
• Maintain traffic control equipment and inventory.
