The Goddard School in Maryland is seeking a Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing learning environment and collaborate with an Assistant Teacher and the rest of the faculty.

You will develop and implement engaging lesson plans, use classroom technology, meet the needs of each child, and maintain professional communication with families while supporting ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, Elementary Education, or Child Development required.
• CDA certification preferred or required.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field with 90 hours preschool certification.
• Experience in a large center and ability to write lesson plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans.
• Proficiency with classroom technology (e.g., interactive white board, computers).
• Meet the individual needs of each child.
• Communicate appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow teachers.
