Responsibilities

• Maintain classroom appearance, cleanliness, and safety.
• Complete daily notes, accident reports, and attendance.
• Attend staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetings.
• Supervise and assist children during activities.
• Provide counseling for social, academic, or adjustment issues.
• Plan, implement, and schedule lessons and activities.
• Prepare instructional aids and materials.
• Assist with meals and cleanup.
• Ensure equipment is in good condition and used properly.
• Arrange classroom for defined interest areas.
• Communicate with parents and maintain developmental profiles.
• Schedule and conduct parent/teacher conferences.
• Manage bulletin boards and family information board.
• Perform assigned duties.

Job description

The Lead Toddler Teacher is responsible for implementing the AEA curriculum and engaging in developmentally appropriate activities in a nurturing classroom environment. The teacher will inspire young minds, fostering a love for learning. Collaborate with a supportive team to create a positive and enriching educational experience. Conduct Assessments of children to indicate growth and areas of improvement and formal meetings with parents. Assist with diaper changes. Teacher must gain an understanding of Amazing Explorers Academy policies, procedures, and expectations.
