Job summary

Prudential is seeking a Lead for Tactical Intelligence & Threat-Informed Defense (Finance) in Newark, NJ. You will mentor analysts, establish analytical standards, and mature the Threat-Informed Defense capability across security functions.

Responsibilities include analyzing adversary TTPs, mapping behavior to controls, and translating findings into prioritized defensive actions. Collaboration with Cyber Defense, Technology Owners, and business stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in cyber threat intelligence, threat hunting, security operations or incident response.
• Ability to translate intelligence into actionable defensive guidance and risk-based prioritization.
• Strong understanding of attacker TTPs and modern technology environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures to understand attack execution and threat evolution.
• Assess attack paths and exposures across identity, cloud, endpoint, SaaS, and other technologies.
• Map adversary behavior to controls, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Translate intelligence insights into actionable guidance for detection and response.
• Provide context on vulnerabilities and exploitation trends to support risk-based prioritization.
• Produce intelligence products: threat assessments, TTP analyses, attack path reviews, briefings.
• Brief stakeholders and translate complex intelligence into actionable recommendations.
• Partner with Information Security, Technology owners, and business teams to strengthen intelligence-informed defense.
• Incorporate lessons from incidents to improve intelligence analysis and recommendations.
• Define and track metrics to demonstrate effectiveness of Threat-Informed Defense activities.
