Job summary

Resurgent Industries in Austin, TX is seeking a Chief Textile Engineer to own end-to-end technical and operational ownership of the Textile Division—scaling textile production from initial development lines to millions of square feet of automated output. You will drive performance, reliability, and continuous improvement at industrial scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a textile or related engineering field.
• 15+ years in textiles across multiple processes.
• Proven ownership of volume-production or multi-plant operations.
• Experience specifying major textile assets and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end textile product architecture from fiber to garment.
• Own production performance across current and future sites; drive rate, quality, cost targets.
• Lead multi-site organization of production leaders, engineers, and labs.
• Partner with COO/CTO on factory layouts, staffing, and automation architecture.
• Serve as technical face of Textile Division to customers, DoD, partners, and investors.
• Maintain a technology roadmap across fiber systems, spinning, knitting, dyeing, finishing, and garment construction.
