Job summary

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company in Moorpark, CA seeks an experienced Test Engineering Manager to lead a team of Test Engineers across environmental, mechanical, and explosive testing. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will oversight planning, execution, and analysis while developing a high-performing team.

This first-shift, on-site position requires a BS/MS in Engineering, 8+ years in engineering with 3+ years in leadership, and strong communication and problem-solving

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience including test engineering in high-reliability environments.
• Minimum 3 years of technical and/or people leadership experience.
• Experience mentoring engineers and technical personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe and effective environmental, mechanical, and explosive testing.
• Mentor and develop Test Engineers to build a high-performing team.
• Set priorities, goals and performance expectations aligned with EBAD objectives.
• Lead test planning, resource allocation, scheduling, and readiness reviews.
• Ensure rigorous test planning, data analysis, documentation, and configuration control.
