The role focuses on coaching tellers, delivering a superior customer experience, and identifying opportunities to refer customers to branch staff and PNC products. As a Lead Teller you will assist in training, coaching, and maintaining branch operations while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor and lead tellers to deliver a unique customer experience and improve customer financial wellbeing.
• Identify opportunities during customer interactions and refer to branch staff when appropriate.
• Engage customers through lobby activities to connect with them and position PNC products.
• Educate customers on options for managing financial transactions by leveraging technology and resources.
• Demonstrate clear communication, transaction handling, and problem resolution skills.
• Assist the Branch Manager with performance management and new hire selection processes.
• Adhere to policies and procedures and exercise sound judgment within established limits.
• Ensure teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed efficiently and accurately.
