Job summary

Iron Will Ventures is seeking a Senior Telemetry & Trajectory Engineer to support the Targets Program Office for flight-test events validating weapon and system sensors. The role requires deep expertise in missile characteristics, telemetry data analysis, and visualization for decision support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (e.g., physics, engineering, math).
• 7+ years in missile defense related or other DoD programs/projects.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance; US Citizenship.
• Proficiency with MATLAB and other programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Targets program office with development of missile defense target vehicles.
• Support the Targets System Engineering team in all aspects of target design, analysis, and test to include requirements development and assessment, modeling and simulation, test analysis and reporting.
• Utilize knowledge of missile characteristics and engineering to support activities and data product development.
• Configure and operate telemetry data acquisition equipment during test events.
• Perform vehicle telemetry data decommutation, reduction, conversions, etc.
• Generate target vehicle visualizations, situational awareness displays, and reports/briefings.
• Collaborate with a dynamic team of experts to develop analysis and engineering tools.
