Job summary

Qualifications

• US citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain active Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
• 3–5 years of telecommunications/OSP/network engineering experience.
• Leadership experience.
• Knowledge of fiber optic design and outside plant construction practices.
• Experience with engineering design software, GIS, CAD, and telecom mapping systems.
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of telecom engineers and act as a primary point of contact.
• Coordinate field technicians and telecom crews.
• Design, engineer, and maintain telecommunications networks including fiber, copper, and outside plant infrastructure.
• Develop network designs, route plans, construction drawings, specifications, and materials lists.
• Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, and agencies to support project execution.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
• Modernize cable plant records with Network Enterprise Center.
• Conduct field surveys and feasibility assessments for network planning.
• Provide technical oversight on construction projects.
• Analyze network performance and improve reliability and capacity.
• Prepare engineering reports and project documentation.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasts, and resource planning.
