Job summary

Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. (ACT) in Lancaster, PA, seeks a Lead Technician to supervise technicians and support the development of thermal products from prototypes to flight hardware.

You will coordinate priorities with engineers and managers, fabricate, assemble, and test products, and ensure quality and safety in a fast‑paced environment. Strong leadership and prior supervision are a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field and at least 2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong technical and fabrication skills with basic electrical knowledge.
• Strong communication, organization, and computer skills.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.
• Previous supervisory or training experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the daily work of technicians.
• Provide training, mentorship, and ongoing employee support.
• Work closely with engineers and managers to coordinate priorities, assignments, and resources.
• Fabricate, assemble, and test thermal products and supporting hardware, including brazing and soldering.
• Perform incoming, in‑process, and final inspections to ensure product quality.
• Support the development of fabrication, testing, and work procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, equipment, quality, and team effectiveness.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following company, quality, and ITAR/export‑control requirements.
