Job summary

Service Wizard, Inc. in Texas is seeking a Lead Duct/Insulation Installer to join our growing team.

The Lead will install ducting and insulation in residential settings and provide leadership to apprentices while upholding company standards and safe practices. You will ensure projects are completed on time, handle paperwork, and deliver excellent customer service, explaining system operation to homeowners and identifying add-on opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in HVAC installation in the field.
• Proficient in ductwork system installation and HVAC design.
• Able to lead and coach apprentices on projects.
• Knowledge of HVAC parts and their functions.
• Strong safety awareness for tools, testing devices, and surroundings.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install ducting and insulation per company requirements and manufacturer specifications.
• Provide project leadership with less experienced HVAC install apprentices.
• Ensure safety for self and team members.
• Install HVAC equipment in customers' homes with minimal supervision.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and on time.
• Interact with homeowners to explain system usage and benefits.

Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Lead Duct/Insulation Installer to join our growing team. The Lead will be responsible for completing installation services within customers' residences. The Lead HVAC Installer is responsible for providing excellent customer service while ensuring that projects are completed on time according to company standards.

As a Lead HVAC Installer, You Will

• Install ducting and insulation and other products per company requirements and manufacturer specifications.
• Provide project leadership with less experienced HVAC install apprentices to complete projects.
• Ensure safety for self and team members
• Works under minimum supervision to install HVAC equipment in the customer's home.
• Completes all paperwork accurately and on time.
• Provide exceptional customer service. Able to interact with the homeowners while completing installations; ensure customers understand how to utilize their newly installed systems.
• Offer additional add-on options

Skills And Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years in HVAC installation experience in the field
• Proficient in HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork system
• Demonstrated ability to build and transition duct work, install indoor/outdoor units, braze and solder
• Ability to lead and coach apprentices on projects
• Knowledge of HVAC parts and their functions
• Exceptional Safety knowledge of tools, testing devices, and surroundings
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Work in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds. Operates hand and power tools and vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and dust. Pay Range: $100,000 USD - $110,000 USD
