TRANSPORT REFRIGERATION SERVICES IN is hiring a Lead Technician for the TRS Bartlesville/OCHELATA operation. The role focuses on leadership and hands-on diagnostics of diesel and refrigeration systems, with a night shift and full-time schedule.

Responsibilities include overseeing shift operations, assigning tasks, servicing and repairing refrigeration units, performing FHWA/DOT inspections, and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Technician and/or Supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain a toolbox and required tools.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift operations, ensuring work is completed on time and to high standards.
• Assign tasks to technicians and manage the flow of work.
• Answer customer service calls, assist with needs, and create work orders.
• Ensure safety and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration units using OEM software, reading codes, and diagnosing electrical issues.
• Handle repairs for minor and major truck and trailer systems: fuel, coolant, electrical, drivetrain, brakes, suspension, and more.
• Conduct preventive maintenance services on trailers, refrigeration units, and APU units.
• Perform FHWA/DOT inspections on trucks and trailers.
• Replace brake and ABS systems.
• Repair and replace truck and trailer tires.
• Perform structural, rear‑door, and electrical trailer repairs.
• Repair and troubleshoot APU units.
• Provide road service work, service company vehicles, and maintain equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized shop environment.
• Lead by example and adhere to company and customer standards.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Technician to join our dynamic fleet service team. If you are a diesel mechanic, refrigeration technician, or lead technician with a passion for leadership and hands‑on technical work, this is the role for you.
