Job summary

ServiceMaster DSI is seeking a Lead Technician/Restoration Crew Chief for residential and commercial fire and water cleanup and restoration. This role directs, aids and supervises Restoration Techs on the project and performs mitigation, water extraction, cleaning, mold abatement, and content handling.

The pay starts at $24-$28 per hour, negotiable by experience, plus a $1,500 sign-on bonus. Benefits include health, vision, dental, 401(k) match, PTO, holidays, and paid IICRC training.

Qualifications

• Restoration or carpet and upholstery cleaning experience.
• Crew Chief experience supervising restoration technicians.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely, quality completion of restoration cleaning, moving, packing and labor tasks.
• Maintain documentation and client communication throughout the project.
• Provide on-the-job training and reference for staff.

The Position:

We’re looking for a Lead Technician/Restoration Crew Chief. This position is for residential and commercial fire and water clean-up and restoration. Job assignments include but are not limited to specialty mitigation services, light demolition, water extraction, carpet and upholstery cleaning, mold abatement, vandalism clean-up, fire and smoke damage mitigation, content move-outs and pack ins, and content cleaning. This position also directs, aids and supervises the Restoration Technicians assigned to the project.

The pay starts at $24-$28 per hour, that is negotiable based on experience. PLUS a $1,500 Sign on Bonus!!

Requirements

• Restoration or carpet and upholstery cleaning experience
• Previous experience as a Crew Chief in a fire and flood restoration company
• Must have Good communication skills.
• Must have a valid Drivers License
• Reliable transportation
• Previous restoration experience
• Ability to travel out of town
• Able to move and/or lift 50+ lbs.
• Water Restoration Tech Certification IICRC (WRT)

Responsibilities

• Ensures the timely quality completion of assigned restoration cleaning, moving, packing, or general labor projects.
• Directs, aids and supervises the Restoration Techs and Staff Laborers assigned to the Restoration Crew Chief by the Project Manager on a per project basis.
• Ensures and evaluates competence and quality of the Restoration Techs and Staff Laborers.
• Ensures a continuous increase in the knowledge and skill level (training) of the Restoration Techs and Staff Laborers.
• Ensures the productivity of the Restoration Techs and Staff Laborers assigned to the Restoration Crew Chief by the Production Manager.
• Ensures all required restoration project documentation, including forms and photo-documentation, is completed in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensures excellent customer communication and relations.
• Perform other duties as required. These duties may include job functions that are outside the scope of normal job duties.
