Job summary

Pavion Corp is seeking a Lead Technician for our security unit in Westminster, CO. You will install and maintain access control, analog and IP CCTV, network video management systems, intercoms, and structured cabling across customer sites.

Our ideal candidate has 2+ years of field experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to lift 50 lbs and work with ladders. A valid driver's license and security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of field experience in the industry.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimum direction.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical and electronics aptitude.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs and capable of working on ladders and lifts.
• Regular driving to customer and project sites with a valid driver’s license.
• Security clearance

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain access control systems, analog and IP-based CCTV, and related devices and equipment.
• Install, terminate, and test Cat5e/6 cabling per state/local codes.
• Troubleshoot faulty equipment and follow the RMA process.
• Assist with closet buildouts (ladder rack, equipment racks, and wire management).
• IP programming and troubleshooting CCTV and access control devices; install wireless devices.
• Maintain safety, provide daily feedback to the team, and deliver customer service.
• Communicate site conditions, progress, updates, and issues clearly.

Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Lead Technician to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain access control systems, analog and IP-based CCTV systems, network video management software, intercoms, data cabling, and related devices and equipment.
• Regularly install, terminate, and test Category 5e/6 and Access control cabling in compliance with state/local codes.
• Promptly troubleshoot faulty equipment and follow the RMA process.
• Effectively assist with closet buildouts (ladder rack, equipment racks, and wire management).
• IP, program and troubleshoot CCTV and Access control devices, and install and configure wireless devices.
• Practice workplace safety, provide daily feedback to the team, and provide appropriate customer service.
• Accurately communicate site conditions, progress, updates, and issues

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of field experience in the industry
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast based environment with minimum direction.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical and electronics aptitude
• Able to lift up to 50lbs and capable of working on ladders and lift
• This position requires regular driving to customer and project sites. A valid driver's license is required.
• Security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with LENEL preferred, but experience working with, servicing, maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting and or programming other security systems is acceptable

The hourly pay range for this position is $35-$45 per hour. The starting hourly pay will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
