Job summary

Daisy is seeking a detail‑oriented Lead Technician in our Central Vermont branch to install, configure, and maintain low‑voltage integrated system equipment.

The role requires a Master Electrician’s or Specialty Electrician’s license, strong knowledge of Control4, Savant, and other control systems, and the ability to lead on-site teams while delivering high‑quality, reliable installations for home and commercial environments.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience with low-voltage integrated systems installation.
  • Proficiency with Control4 and/or Savant; experience with Lutron and Crestron is a plus.
  • Master Electrician’s or Specialty Electrician’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and service integrated AV, networking, and home automation systems.
  • Terminate and install low-voltage cabling, panels, and junction boxes.
  • Troubleshoot audio, video, networking, and control systems—both simple and complex.
  • Interpret project blueprints and system schematics to execute installations accurately.
  • Ensure clean, code-compliant, and high-performance installations.
  • Act as the on-site point of contact for clients, designers, builders, and architects.
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in excellent condition.
  • Mentor and lead junior technicians as needed.
  • Deliver service that meets Daisy’s standards for quality, reliability, and professionalism.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Lead Technician to support operations across a dynamic, fast-growing organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on the idea of solving the biggest in-home technology problems in a rapidly developing industry. The right candidate has a Master Electrician’s or Specialty Electrician’s license, knowledge of Control4, Savant and other control systems, and understands how audio, video, communication, and control devices work. The Lead Technician performs system configuration, calibration, programming, testing, and troubleshooting, as well as demonstrates mastery of basic wiring/cabling for low-voltage integrated systems.

What You Bring To The Team
  • 2–3 years of hands‑on experience with low-voltage integrated systems installation
  • Proficiency with Control4 and/or Savant systems; experience with Lutron and Crestron is a plus
  • Positive, customer-focused attitude and a strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead teams and manage workflow on‑site effectively
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
  • Physically capable of lifting, kneeling, and climbing
  • Master electrician’s license preferred
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening
