Job summary

Pavion in Greenville, SC is seeking a Lead Technician to join our security business unit. You will install high-security field devices, configure headend equipment, and maintain documentation.

The role requires 5–10 years in installation/service of security and low-voltage systems, ability to read blueprints, and travel up to 80% across the Southeast. A comprehensive benefits package is offered with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-10 years of installation and/or service of security and low-voltage systems.
• Expertise with field wiring, terminations, and headend equipment setup.

• OSHA 10 or 30 certification required.

Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Lead Technician to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a strong work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to quality in all assigned tasks.
• Perform installation of high-security field devices and ensure proper setup, calibration, and functionality.
• Complete field wiring, terminations, and testing in accordance with company standards and project specifications.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot headend equipment, ensuring seamless integration with field components.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and customer site requirements.
• Collaborate with supervisors, project managers, and team members to meet deadlines and maintain customer satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in installation and/or service of security and low-voltage systems.
• Expertise with field wiring, terminations, and headend equipment setup.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work from blueprints or wiring diagrams.
• High level of integrity, reliability, and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in high-security environments.
• Must possess or be able to obtain necessary background clearances for secure facilities.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Must possess OSHA 10 or 30

Preferred Qualifications

• Access control certifications
• Ability to set up IP domains
• Ability to travel up to 80% around the Southeast US (including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina)

The hourly pay range for this position is $35-$45 per hour . The starting hourly pay will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
