We are seeking a driven and experienced Sourcer to join our talent acquisition team, specifically focusing on our critical Manufacturing and Supply Chain Engineering Operations. In this role, you will lead a small team of sourcers while proactively identifying, engaging, and nurturing top-tier talent across various hardware manufacturing, assembly, and related engineering disciplines to support our fast-paced, innovative environment. You will partner closely with fellow sourcers and recruiters to build pipelines for key production, integration, and manufacturing engineering roles, helping to scale our ability to build and deliver advanced defense technology.

What You’ll Do

    • Electrical/Electronics Manufacturing (e.g., PCBA assembly, test, and rework).
    • Manufacturing Engineering (including Design for Manufacturability (DFM), New Product Introduction (NPI), and Test Engineering).
    • Specialized Electrical Engineering (e.g., PCBA design) and Firmware Engineering (for manufacturing test and automation).
    • Manufacturing Software/Automation Engineering (for factory systems, robotics, and test automation).
    • Generalist manufacturing roles with a mix of electrical, mechanical, software, and quality skills.
  • Candidate Engagement: Initiate and develop meaningful relationships with prospective manufacturing talent through tailored messaging and personalized communication, effectively conveying Anduril's mission and the impact of our opportunities.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a small team of direct reports within the production (Manufacturing & Supply Chain) function.
  • Pipeline Development: Build and maintain robust candidate pipelines for a diverse range of manufacturing and production engineering roles, ensuring a steady flow of high-quality talent for immediate and future hiring needs.
  • Collaboration: Partner effectively with recruiters to understand specific role requirements, production demands, and align sourcing strategies with broader operational and product development goals.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze sourcing metrics and candidate data to refine and optimize sourcing strategies and workflows, contributing to continuous improvement within the talent acquisition function.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 6+ years in sourcing or recruiting, with a proven track record of hiring for complex manufacturing, production, or hardware engineering roles within high-tech, defense, aerospace, or similarly complex hardware industries.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage, build rapport, and influence candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Analytical Mindset: Proficient in using data-driven approaches to evaluate sourcing effectiveness and make informed decisions about strategy.
  • Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, and other sourcing tools.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry Expertise: Proven experience in manufacturing or hardware engineering sourcing within startups, defense, aerospace, automotive, complex hardware, or high-tech industries.
  • Tooling Experience: Expertise using Greenhouse, Gem, various AI tools, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Manufacturing & Engineering Acumen: Strong understanding of hardware manufacturing processes and production methodologies.
  • Independent & Proactive: Highly self-sufficient with the ability to work autonomously and take initiative without requiring constant supervision.
