KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and support families. You will mentor teammates, deliver KinderCare’s curriculum, and create a safe, engaging classroom where children can explore and grow.

This role requires strong communication with parents, collaboration with center staff, and a commitment to enrollment, accreditation, and positive community impact. Minnesota premium noted in our benefits, but the role applies nationwide.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in your classroom; provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum to meet each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Connect with parents to support childcare and education goals.
• Support center success by collaborating with staff and leadership on enrollment and accreditation.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners.

When you join our team as a Lead Teacher you will:

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support your center's success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners

Required Skills and Experience:

• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
• Possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Use a computer, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
• Be able to make physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English

Range of pay $0.00 - $0.00 Hourly
In the state of Minnesota, we currently provide an additional $3.00 per hour premium on all classroom hours worked in addition to the range of pay listed. This premium is funded through the Minnesota Great Start Grant Compensation Support Program.
