Job summary

Join The Gardner School of Union Row as a Lead Preschool Teacher in our state-of-the-art facility. You will lead and inspire your classroom with creativity, care, and excellence, mentoring assistants and modeling our core values while building strong relationships with families and children.

Plan engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that spark curiosity and maintain safety, compliance, and a joyful learning environment for every student.

Qualifications

• Education/Certification: AA in ECE or related; or 60 credit hours/AA with 12 credit hours in ECE; or enrollment in a degree program provided candidate holds CDA and earns AA within 4 years of hire date.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Experience: 2+ years of early childhood education experience (lead or co-lead preferred).
• Knowledge, Skills and Physical Requirements: Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Regular and reliable attendance.
• Intermediate PC skills and proficiency with general administrative tasks.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently; able to communicate with students, families, and staff.

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently, sufficient to communicate effectively with students, families, and staff, implement curriculum and safety procedures, and complete written reports. Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
