La Petite Academy in Lawrence, KS, part of Learning Care Group, is hiring a Lead Teacher to inspire young minds and shape daily learning experiences. You will mentor fellow teachers, nurture preschool growth, and ensure engaging, developmentally appropriate activities in a compliant classroom.

We value energetic, dependable individuals 18+, with classroom leadership experience, the ability to meet state requirements, and the flexibility to work indoors or outdoors with children.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and childcare.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Consistent daily schedule required.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care for preschool children's social, physical, and intellectual growth in your class.
• Call the shots: lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, and be an expert on licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Communicate: build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support the center's success.
