Job summary

The Village Learning Center is seeking a Lead Teacher to provide high-quality early learning experiences for young children in New Jersey. You will lead engaging, developmentally appropriate activities and work closely with staff to create a nurturing classroom environment.

Applicants must have an Associate's Degree in ECE or Child Development or equivalent, or other approved credentials, with additional state-endorsed qualifications. A supportive team and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must meet state guidelines for education, immunizations, employment physical, and health/safety training.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have HS diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license required if driving is a job requirement.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a qualified Lead Teacher.

Qualifications include currently holding at least one of the following:

A. Associate's Degree in ECE or Child Development

B. 6 ECE credits AND 9 credits in either education, psychology, health care, nursing, or any field related to child growth and development

C. CDA

D. CCP

E. Group Teacher endorsement from the NJ Registry for Childhood Professionals

Pay Range

$17.25 - $20.50 USD
