Job summary

South Shore YMCA at the Hale Family YMCA State Street Early Learning Center is hiring Teachers and Lead Teachers dedicated to creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally enriching environment for children.

Responsibilities include designing engaging lesson plans, nurturing relationships with families, and ensuring safety and inclusion while collaborating with a team of educators to uphold high standards and EEC/NAEYC guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must hold EEC Teacher certification through the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care.
• Lead Teacher certification through the MA Dept. of Early Education and Care.
• Knowledge of EEC regulations, QRIS Standards, and NAEYC best practices.

Responsibilities

• Create & Implement: Develop engaging lesson plans that support children's physical, cognitive, and emotional development.
• Nurture & Support: Foster strong relationships with children and families, keeping them informed of their progress.
• Ensure Safety & Inclusion: Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming learning environment where every child feels valued.
• Collaborate & Grow: Work with a team of educators to create a positive, cohesive classroom atmosphere.
• Meet High Standards: Maintain compliance with EEC regulations, NAEYC best practices, and quality standards.
