Qualifications

• High school diploma required; ECE degree preferred.
• CDA preferred
• 1–2 years of experience with young children in licensed childcare or preschool
• State-required pre-service training completed
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and manage classroom tasks effectively

Responsibilities

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans using the Wonder of Learning curriculum.
• Create and maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment
• Maintain positive family communication about child progress
• Supervise activities ensuring health and safety standards
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training
• Observe and document children’s learning to share insights with families
• Collaborate with Assistant Teachers and Resource Teachers
• Model positive guidance for social-emotional growth
