The Goddard School of Hendersonville is seeking a passionate Lead Teacher to implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum using our proprietary Wonder of Learning program. In this role, you'll create a safe and nurturing environment, inspire young minds, and work closely with a supportive team.

Qualificações

• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous experience in licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred.
• Effective communication with children, families, and faculty members.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans using the Wonder of Learning curriculum.
• Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment.
• Maintain open communication with families about their child's progress.
• Supervise children during activities to ensure health and safety.
• Participate actively in professional development opportunities.
• Document children's learning and development.
• Foster collaboration with Assistant Teachers and Resource Teachers.
• Model positive guidance strategies for social-emotional growth.
