Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher in Illinois to coach peers, implement our curriculum, and foster a safe, nurturing classroom where children can learn and grow. You will partner with parents and staff to support enrollment and accreditation while building strong relationships with families and community partners.

The role requires an active CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy, CPR/First Aid ready, and 2–3 years of ECE experience; a Bachelor’s in ECE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills required.
• CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy required; state trainer preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain; meet state qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom and model behaviors; provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare curriculum aligned to each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning; partner with parents to support children’s development.
• Support enrollment, accreditation, and engagement; collaborate with center staff and leadership.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners.
