Job summary

La Petite Academy in New Jersey is hiring a Lead Teacher to create engaging learning experiences and mentor fellow teachers. You will manage classroom activities, support children's social, physical, and intellectual growth, and ensure compliance with licensing guidelines and center standards.

We seek energetic, dependable individuals at least 18 years old who can lead a classroom, plan lessons, and meet state education requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create, develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care for preschool children and promote their social, physical, and intellectual growth.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, and ensure compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Communicate with enrolled and prospective families to support child achievement and center success.

As a Lead Teacher, you’ll:
