Le Village Co is a child‑centric co‑working space for parents and curiosity‑led Pre‑K in Irving Park, Chicago. We offer great pay, a supportive work environment, and a carefully designed curriculum, as well as a leadership team that values communication and is invested in your career.
Le Village offers co‑working space with onsite childcare from 9 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday. We offer a variety of flexible packages to accommodate families’ needs from three half days to five full days a week. Children spend their time in one of our three classrooms, open play space, and outdoor patio area while parents step away to an adjacent quiet space to work. They can pop in to check on their little ones as time allows, and we ask that they spend at least 45 minutes of one‑on‑one time with their child every three hours. We are not a traditional daycare; parents must remain on‑site the entire time that their children are in Village Care.
Le Village Learners is a Pre‑K extension from Le Village Cowork created for parents with children in need of a traditional childcare space and kindergarten preparation for their early learner ages 3‑6. Le Village Learners is a drop‑off childcare that is an expansion of the original childcare and curriculum at Le Village Cowork.
We offer fun activities and developmental learning opportunities for children while they are in Village Care. Your job as a Lead Teacher is to coordinate and lead these activities, help children transition from one part of the day to the next, and be a patient, positive role model. The curriculum is designed to allow you choice and flexibility without a lot of prep work so you can focus on being present with the little ones in your classroom.
Paid Time Off: 6 PTO, 10 Paid Vacation Days, one week off at the beginning of July, 2 weeks off at the end of December/beginning of January.
Childcare: If you are a parent, we offer free enrollment for 1 child (of qualifying age) after 8 months of employment.
Professional Development: We value your growth and are happy to help support your continued professional development after 6 months of employment.
Health Benefit Credit: Monthly Health stipend for all full‑time employees.
