Job summary

Peace of Mind is seeking energetic early childhood educators to nurture, inspire, and guide young learners in a caring classroom environment. Teachers plan hands-on activities across art, music, literature, science, and more to support holistic development and curiosity.

You will collaborate with families, document progress, and participate in ongoing professional growth while maintaining safe, organized spaces and following state licensing guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; CDA or higher preferred
• Refer to state requirements for lead or assistant teacher qualifications
• CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to obtain; CDA credential a plus

Responsibilities

• Inspire learning with engaging, hands-on activities across art, music, literature, science, and more
• Create a safe space by supervising activities and maintaining clean, organized classrooms
• Connect with families; share updates and learning evidence via the Kindertales app; conduct parent conferences
• Promote growth by observing, documenting, and celebrating each child’s development
• Uphold licensing standards; conduct drills and complete incident reports and daily logs
• Lead classroom assistants; maintain procedures and collaborate with leadership on improvements
• Foster community through positive relationships with parents, colleagues, and children
