Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred.
• 1–2 years experience with young children in licensed setting.
• Must complete state-required pre-service training.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum and Instruction: Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities; engage students with creative teaching methods.
• Classroom Management: Create a safe, nurturing environment; manage routines; provide positive guidance.
• Family Communication: Maintain open communication with parents; conduct conferences and provide updates.
• Health and Safety: Ensure cleanliness and safety; follow health guidelines; supervise activities.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
