Job summary

Learning Care is hiring a Lead Teacher in Glen Carbon, IL. You will create fun, interactive learning experiences, mentor fellow Teachers, lead classroom management, and ensure curriculum follows licensing guidelines and company standards.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, bi-weekly and daily pay options, a $18.50 per hour wage, health insurance for full-time staff, tuition reimbursement and credential assistance, a 401(k) with company match, and a childcare discount for employees.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and center standards.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors with active engagement with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care for the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in your class.
• Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, and be an expert on licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and center success.
