Job summary

La Petite Academy in Pickerington, OH is hiring a Lead Teacher to design engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences and mentor fellow staff. You will lead classroom management, ensure curriculum implementation, and uphold licensing standards within a warm, supportive center.

You will build strong relationships with families, promote child growth, and participate in ongoing training and credential support through our program.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers.
• Care for preschool children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth.
