Child Development Schools is seeking a Lead Teacher to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons while maintaining a safe, well-organized classroom in compliance with licensing standards.

You will observe children’s development, communicate progress to families, and collaborate with a supportive teaching team to create a nurturing environment that promotes curiosity, growth, and a love of learning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of 12 hours of childcare training within 30 days of hire.
• Genuine care for children and commitment to safety.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with families.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom
• Keep the classroom safe, organized, and compliant with licensing and ratio requirements
• Observe and document each child's development and share progress with families regularly
• Build relationships with parents through daily communication and scheduled conferences
• Complete required documentation including attendance, incident reports, and assessments
