Job summary

The Goddard School of Broadview Heights, Ohio is seeking a passionate, experienced Lead and/or Assistant Teachers with the skills and desire to provide children with a nurturing, child centered learning experience! Lead teachers, with help from their Assistant Teacher (or co-lead), are responsible for ensuring compliance with Goddard's industry-leading Health & Safety Quality Assurance standards.

Our Lead teachers are given weekly lesson planning time outside the classroom.

Qualifications

• Associates or BA in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• CDA and Early Childhood Degree.
• Prior classroom experience is preferred; training is provided.
• Strong written and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom with weekly lesson planning time outside the classroom.
• Create a positive learning environment where children develop a love of learning.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Quality Assurance standards.

Lead Teachers, with help from their Assistant Teacher (or co-lead), are responsible for ensuring compliance with Goddard's industry-leading Health & Safety Quality Assurance standards. Our Lead teachers are given weekly lesson planning time outside the classroom. Most importantly, they create a positive learning environment in their classroom where children develop a lifelong love of learning. We are also happy to work with our teachers daily to ensure they are provided with whatever they need to maintain a healthy work environment, as well as a classroom filled with fun-based learning!

Lead Teacher Qualifications

Associates or BA in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred

CDA and Early Childhood Degree

Prior Classroom Experience (Preferred, Will Train)

Demonstrate knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices

Strong written and communication skills

Assistant Teacher Qualifications

High School Diploma

Prior Childcare Experience (Preferred, Will Train)

Pursuing degree (CDA and Early Childhood Degree partnerships)

Child Care Experience: 1 year (Preferred, will train)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• School is open from 7AM-6PM Monday through Friday
