Job summary

Learning Care Group in Houston is seeking a Lead Teacher to mentor fellow teachers and deliver engaging, development-focused lessons for preschool students. You’ll create activities, supervise daily routines, and ensure a supportive, safe classroom environment.

You will collaborate with families, follow state licensing guidelines, and uphold center standards. The role requires prior classroom leadership and the ability to work indoors or outdoors with children.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care for the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in your class.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement and center success.
